  • What is your daily programme?
    Our educational Programme which is theme based offers a holistic learning experience for your child. We offer play based learning opportunities that encourage independence, curiosity, exploration and discovery. The following skills; sensory ,motor, intellectual, linguistic, emotional and social, are taught in a fun and engaging manner both indoors and outdoors. Teachers specialising in music, movement, exercise, drama and language and listening skills form part of our weekly enrichment programme. Through Micro groups, teacher directed rings and activities, as well as children directed activities, our programme prepares your child for primary school. These are the Learning areas and cultural activities our programme offers: Numeracy and literacy Story time Creative art Movement and School Singing Gross and fine motor development Social and emotional development Sensory activities Outreach eg Sunflower foundation, Mandela day, Santa shoe box , visiting the elderly etc Eye screening for the 5-6 yr olds Structured Creative play and free play, indoors and outdoors Bible stories Continuous assessments Enrichment Programme: Doo Wop Drama (3-4 yr olds) Game changers (exercise programme) Wriggle and Rhyme (a music programme) Listening and language skill development (Liz Aspeling 4-6 yr olds) Educational outings
  • What time does school start?
    School is open from 7.30am and drop off times are staggered. School closing times vary depending on the class: Penguins and Starfish - 12pm Turtles and Dolphins - 12.15pm Whales - 12.30pm

  • What are the Aftercare fees?
    Aftercare is an additional part of the day and is not included in school fees. Download our aftercare fees here.
  • Can you attend Aftercare on a casual basis?
    Yes. Our Aftercare rates are R50 per hour for casuals.
  • What are the Aftercare hours?
    Aftercare is from 12.45 – 15.00 or 17.00
  • Do you run a holiday programme?
    Yes. We offer a fun holiday club for your convenience. Special activities like jumping castles and scavenger hunts are planned for certain days, ensuring that the children have loads of fun. All children currently attending Constantiaberg Pre-Primary as well as siblings from the age of 3 years not enrolled at school (up to and including Grade 1’s) are welcome to attend.
  • Do you have an aftercare?
    Yes. We have a wonderful relaxed aftercare where the children are encouraged to have fun, socialise and play. All the while learning respect, good manners and behaviour. Children have lunch together (a second lunch is sent to school in the morning) and after lunch all children lie down and listen to stories. After story time those who have fallen asleep remain indoors with one of the teachers while the other teacher goes outdoors with the other children.
  • Are the enrichment activities included in school fees?
    Yes. All classes attend Wriggle & Rhyme and Game Changers. The 4-5 year olds/Grade R have Listening & Language.
